I spent a bit of time this morning trying to fix my old allotment mower. It’s really a rusty heap but the engine is still good. Last year the handle failed where it joins the body of the mower but I felt I could probably fix it, at least temporarily until I can afford a new one. 

The final fix is a bit Frankensteinesque but it might keep the grass paths on the plot cut for another season. Our of course it might fail again straightaway!
