Christmas Traditions

I can think of a few Christmas traditions and sayings. For example, we always used to be told that if we weren’t well behaved Father Christmas would only leave a lump of coal in our Christmas stocking. If we were good there was always a satsuma, and some nuts in  the toe, underneath the presents.

  1. I think we were told that, but we knew we’d get the full monty, no danger of being left out! I’ve rather avoided traditions for the sake of them, though we used to have various activities over December – making decorations, making our own Advent calendars etc – that happened every year. I don’t think any of my children have kept them up with their offspring, though!
