Work has been quiet this week, so I thought I’d take myself and the dogs off on a little trip perhaps tomorrow or Friday.
A few weeks ago we walked a very short bit of the Titchfield Canal, but looking at the map there’s an approx 4km round trip we can do. So the plan is, that if the weather stays reasonable, i.e. not too wet or too hot; we’re going to give that route a go. It looks to be fairly flat and not too taxing, so should be a good trip. Something different.
Sounds like a really nice day-trip. I hope the weather cooperates with you. When ever I think of waterways, I always flash back on Hyacinth Bucket (pronounce bouquet) and her “waterside picnic with riparian entertainment”.
Not sure if you’ve ever watched it, but Keeping Up Appearances is a favourite of ours.
Have a wonderful adventure, and stay clear of any dredgers! 🙂
Hi David, well the weather did stop play, at least for now, but I can’t complain, it’s good for the allotment. I’ll reschedule for another time.
Yes we do watch Keeping Up Appearances, very funny. Sad to say that they don’t make many comedy programmes like that anymore!
