Ruby is just over 18 months old and in the last week has just noticed squirrels.
As the leaves have come off the trees, the squirrels and their tree top antics have become more visible. Ruby has noticed these furry creatures and now goes in to a kind of “point” every time she sees one – the squirrel stance.

“Oh, if only I could learn how to climb up there,” she’s probably thinking. Looks like she’d really like to catch one. But what to do with it, if she did, has yet to be answered. 🙂
A few minutes after I took the photo in the post, she had her paws up on the trunk of a tree. I’m not sure I want her to learn that trick!
