Can I therefore recommend The Glass Hotel and Sea of Tranquility both by Emily St. John Mandel? They are not sequels but do contain characters from Station Eleven and “Easter eggs”. TGH is has a Ponzi scheme and SoT has a time travel story, but they are sort of secondary to some great characterisations. I’ve read all three this year and enjoyed each one more than the previous.
